At the moment when I was watching the film I never expected that it will going to touch my heart because the beginning doesn’t look that it was a beautiful and interesting film. So as the show goes on I enjoy watching. The story was so perfect for me. It gives me a feeling that what a parents can do for the sake of his son. It really inspires me that everything has a will. John Q really did his beat just to make sure that his son will alive, he take the risk just to see his son alive even it will cost his life.
I really appreciate the show because it reminds me about my nephew who’s in the hospital right now because of a biliary atresia. I want to cry at the moment when John Q and his son talked about, not to give up because his son will be alive. He told to his son to be strong, he reminds to hide don about wrestling, that after the operation they will play baseball. That part of the show really touched my heart so much.
I never watched a movie such as john Q. At the moment I am watching the show I can’t explain what I feel because someone act comedies and T the same time the other act dramas. This movie was a heartwarming story of a father and son. I felt the deep problems of health in the USA. I don't understand how, the most powerful country in the world does have such bad health services to its people? For the benefit of the Americans, I hope that they change this system soon. John Q puts his hearth on this movie, playing a normal guy with financial problems and a hard work. This movie gave me a warm fuzzy feeling for the most part. John Q is basically a good man, desperate to save his son's life.
About the cast John Q put his soul onto this role, being by far the best of all! His wife does well too, but a little exaggerated sometimes, His son is pretty poor in his acting, but he did his act like natural, still isn't a good actor; he has years to perfect his performance. The Doctor, as always is very good and professional. The other cast did well too.
It seems to me that the movie wants to inform us, as a viewer or audience that even the U.S.A is one of the rich countries in the world there is a side of it that somebody is aching from the pain the poverty they are encountered or experienced. I realize that even we encourage people to stop or to out discrimination, those people who are in a low class of society, there is still has a discrimination that someone who don’t have money will served at last and those people who looks rich is always first.
Therefore I conclude that the movie was so interesting and for me I think that our doctor here in the Philippines or nurses must watch the movie or the film JOHN Q. If they will watch the movie I think they will realize about the patient they have encountered at the moment they have those patients who are in rescue.
If I am in a situation like John Q i will also do was he did for his son but in a way that no one will heart. I was really impress after I watch the film. I want to cry but I wont because the ending of the film was so good. The child survive but John Q was sent to jailed. But it's okay because he made a mistake which is he did not see because he want to make his son alive.
